Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care to assigned patients within the nursing process, participating in care plans and wraparound services. Promote and restore mental health in a safe, therapeutic environment through physical and psychological support while serving as a clinical leader for staff. Maintain harmonious relationships with patients and model Wellfound values to foster an effective work environment. This .9 FTE role includes three 2-hour shifts per week with rotating weekends. Requires an Associate degree in nursing, one year inpatient psychiatric experience, and current Washington State licensure.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in nursing
- Current Washington State license without restrictions or accepted compact license
- One year inpatient psychiatric nursing experience
- Strong nursing assessment skills
- Basic Life Support (BLS) card through American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Union Membership
- Join the SEIU Union within thirty (30) calendar days of employment and remain a member in good standing of the Union, unless you submit and are approved for a religious exemption
