Registered Nurse (RN) FT Days - Inpatient Rehab

Job Summary
Perform the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation using evidence-based practice. Provide relationship-based, patient-centered care while partnering with patients and families to set goals and update care plans. Coordinate interdisciplinary rounds, case reviews, and documentation to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes. Mentor staff and students, participate in shared governance activities, and contribute to performance improvement initiatives. Uphold Wellstar policies, legal standards, and accreditation requirements such as TJC Patient Safety Goals. Complete mandatory education and competency assessments. Work full-time days in an inpatient rehab setting.
Required Qualifications
- RN - Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN-COMPACT - RN - Multi-state Compact
- BLS - Basic Life Support or BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor
- Ability to read, write and speak English language
- Ability to optimize the use of technology to support clinical care
- Ability to hold basic computer skills
- Strong interpersonal, collaborative skills
- Customer service skills
- Ability to function in a fast paced environment
- Ability to respond to emergencies in using a decisive, composed and respectful manner

Desired Qualifications
- Associates Nursing or Bachelors Nursing-Preferred
- Direct patient care experience
