Registered Nurse - RN

Outpatient dialysis RN role focused on patient education and care coordination within an ESKD team. Provides initial and ongoing education to patients and families, performs systematic data collection and analysis around hemodialysis, collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to deliver safe, effective dialysis therapy, administers medications per algorithm, participates in emergency response, and trains/mentors staff. CAP 1 entry-level designation, with responsibilities including supervision by a clinician and potential delegation of tasks to PCTs/LPNs/LVNs. Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current state licensure and CPR/BLS certification; minimum RN experience in nephrology/hemodialysis preferred; travel to training sites may be required.
