Job Summary
Provide and coordinate clinically competent home dialysis care for assigned patients, assess patient responses to home dialysis training, educate patients/families, direct and train Home Dialysis staff and Home Partners, administer prescribed medications, participate in CAP requirements, and support ongoing quality improvement; responsibilities include interpreting dialysis data, updating care plans with the interdisciplinary team, and participating in on-call rotations, with potential travel to training sites or patient homes.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Current state licensure
- Current or successful CPR BLS Certification
- Minimum 12 months RN experience; 3 months home peritoneal/hemodialysis experience
- Entry level for RNs with less than 2 years of Nephrology Nursing experience (preferred 1 year)
