Registered Nurse (RN)

Direct nursing care to residents and supervise certified nursing assistants/in-residence care staff per federal/state/local regulations and facility policies. Lead daily CNA activities, follow the nursing model for holistic resident care, ensure policy compliance, participate in admissions/discharges/transfers, assess resident status and communicate with physicians and families, transcribe physician orders, administer medications and observe for adverse effects, perform wound treatments and other direct care tasks (colostomy changes, tube feedings, IV administration, suctioning, wound care), schedule follow-ups and transportation, provide nursing leadership to the unit, collaborate with interdisciplinary team, report incidents, maintain supplies, update care plans, participate in survey/QAPI activities, and uphold infection control practices.
