Job Summary
Provide safe, age-appropriate patient care and function as an advisor and resource for patients and families within the Float Pool. Deliver telemetry and critical care support across various units and specialties as staffing needs require. Maintain readiness for weekend obligations, including four shifts, three major holidays, and two difficult-to-staff days per six-week schedule. This role offers a sign-on bonus potential of $6,000 plus competitive pay ranging from $37.15 to $57.58 hourly. You will work part-time with a 24-hour weekly commitment, with shifts varying between day (7:00 am - 7:30 pm) and night (7:00 pm - 7:30 am).
Required Qualifications
- Telemetry experience
- Critical Care experience
- 2+ years of experience
- RN License in Maryland or Compact State
- Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) from the American Heart Association
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
- Stable within 6 months of hire
- Chemo/biotherapy provider course within 6 months of hire
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association
- Trauma Certification within 6 months of hire
- NIH Stroke Scale certification within 6 months of hire
- Weekend obligation of 4 shifts
- 3 major holidays
- 2 difficult-to-staff days
