Job Summary
Perform plan of care interventions including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments. Document patient care, monitor and communicate patient conditions to the care team, and assist with activities of daily living such as hygiene and ambulation. Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient transfers and discharge planning while evaluating learning needs and providing patient education. Advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of patients across med/surg, neuro/ortho/peds, rehab, and cardiac units. One year nursing experience preferred with a Michigan RN license and BLS-HCP certification required. After one year, staff may train to specialty units like ICU and ED.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) license
- State of Michigan RN license
- Associate degree from an accredited nursing school
- Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (BLS-HCP)
