Job Summary
Clinical Nurse in MedStar Harbor Hospital's Float Pool providing skilled, compassionate care across units (Med Surg/Tele/Neuro/IMC/ICU/ED). Responsibilities include assessing evolving patient conditions, identifying health concerns, and developing care plans with collaboration across nursing teams. Role requires ADN/BSN/MSN/CNL and RN licensure, with 2+ years acute care RN experience preferred; certifications such as BLS required and ACLS/NIHSS preferred. Full-time night shifts include weekend and holiday coverage with various differential pay and relocation assistance up to $5,000. Float to multiple units and adapt to a magnet-hospital environment.
Required Qualifications
- ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing required
- 2 years of RN experience required; at least 2 years of acute care RN experience in Med Surg/Tele, IMC/PCU, CCU/ICU strongly preferred
- Active MD RN License or Active Compact State RN and Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers required (AHA or American Red Cross). ACLS/NIHSS strongly preferred.
