Job Summary
Provide direct patient care activities including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation across ICU, Emergency Department, Medical-Surgical Telemetry, and Telemetry units. Partner with multidisciplinary teams to develop and document individual plans of care with defined goals, ensuring communication across the continuum. Educate patients and families on illness management, post-treatment needs, and medication administration while promoting patient safety and regulatory compliance. Work in a constant state of alertness to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs according to established standards of nursing care.
Required Qualifications
- RN
- Nursing Diploma/Associate's
Desired Qualifications
- Two or more years of acute care nursing experience
- ICU and/or Emergency Department experience preferred
- Telemetry experience
- Peripheral IV insertion competency
- BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
- ADN, BSN, and MSN-prepared nurses encouraged to apply
- Strong critical thinking, adaptability, and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a variety of patient care environments
- Bachelor's Degree
- Less than 2 years experience
