Job Summary
Deliver safe, high-quality patient care by utilizing clinical reasoning and evidence-based practice across Med-Surg, IMC, PCU, CCU, and the Emergency Department. Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions, pain levels, and treatment responses while developing individualized care plans and discharge strategies. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams through daily huddles and delegated responsibilities to ensure timely follow-up and effective communication. Maintain patient safety via hourly rounding and support quality improvement initiatives to reduce Nurse Sensitive Indicators. Requires current Maryland RN license, BLS, ACLS, and two years of IMC experience. Float pool rotation with premium pay.
Required Qualifications
- Current Maryland RN license (or eligibility)
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in an IMC or higher-acuity care setting
