Job Summary
Conduct float pool nursing across telemetry, medical oncology, and post-surgical areas at Community Memorial Health System and Ojai Valley. Provide clinical support in Critical Care and Emergency Department when needed, with functions determined by competency and skills level. Maintain current CA RN license, BLS, and ACLS certifications, and hold at least one year of recent full-time acute care experience. Eligible to receive a floating differential and certification bonuses for PCCN or RNBC credentials. This community-owned, not-for-profit organization serves west Ventura County and is the only five-star rated hospital in the county by CMS.
Required Qualifications
- Current CA RN License
- Current BLS Certified
- Current ACLS Certified
- One year of recent full-time acute care experience in an acute care hospital
- Must be flexible to float to Ojai Valley Community Hospital
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelors of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- One (1) or more years of recent Medical Surgical or Telemetry experience
- Certification for Progressive Care Nurse (PCCN)
- Knowledge of Det Norske Veritas (DNV)
