Registered Nurse (RN) - Float Pool - Days

Float across 65+ inpatient units at Barnes-Jewish Hospital providing direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Develop and document individual plans of care with defined goals in collaboration with the interprofessional team while educating patients and families on illness management and medication administration. Participate in activities promoting patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, utilizing critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs. Work independently in diverse clinical settings with full-time 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM–7:30 PM) and earn a $15/hour float differential. This role supports staffing needs across all patient care areas to accommodate census changes and augment coverage during unscheduled events.
