Job Summary
Conduct nursing care for a defined patient population using the nursing process to maintain quality and optimal outcomes. Perform assessments, planning, implementation of interventions, and evaluation of care effectiveness. Participate in unit-based and organizational quality improvement initiatives, student orientations, and teaching activities while pursuing continuing education and professional growth. Maintain a current Georgia Registered Nursing License and BLS certification. Work various shifts including every other weekend and two minor and one major holiday.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited/approved school of nursing
- 2 years or more of experience in RN experience in related area (floor or critical care)
- Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Current Registered Nursing License (Georgia) or qualifying multi-state compact license
- Must be able to work every other weekend
- Must be able to work two minor and one major holiday

- National specialty certification applicable to area of practice
