Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) for Float Pool in Augusta/Hephzibah, GA. Responsibilities include nursing assessments, planning, implementing interventions, and evaluating care for a defined patient population; participate in unit-based and organizational quality improvement initiatives; engage in continuing education and staff orientations; uphold patient care philosophy and professional development. Requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, at least 2 years RN experience (floor or critical care), BLS, and within 6 months of hire ACLS/PALS/NRP as applicable; Georgia licensure or multi-state compact license. Preferred: Bachelor’s in Nursing. Schedule includes every other weekend and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited/approved school of nursing
- 2 years or more RN experience in related area (floor or critical care)
- Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS)
- ACLS, PALS, or NRP must be obtained within 6 months of hire (where applicable)
- Current Registered Nursing License (Georgia) or qualifying multi-state compact license
