Job Summary
Provides patient care on a nursing unit/department under supervision of the Nurse Manager/Clinical Coordinator; serves as preceptor and charge nurse; supervises non-RN personnel; plans, implements, evaluates and revises plans of care for neuro patients; conducts neuro assessments, airway management, suctioning (including pharyngeal, endotracheal, tracheostomy), care of patients with halos and ventilators; collaborates with healthcare team, documents outcomes, educates patients and families, and ensures discharge planning; BSN preferred and 1 year acute nursing experience required; CT RN license and BLS required; uses electronic health records and participates in teaching programs.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing
- BSN Preferred
- 1 Year acute nursing experience required
- Valid State Of Connecticut Registered Nurse License
- BLS Required
