Registered Nurse (RN), Float Critical Care / ICU

Registered Nurse (RN) with Neuro ICU/critical care focus responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care on a nursing unit. Supervises non-RN personnel, serves as charge nurse, and acts as preceptor to new staff. Develops and documents individualized plans of care in collaboration with the healthcare team, educates patients and families, and contributes to performance outcomes. Demonstrates competency in neuro assessment and care, airway management for neuro patients, care for tracheostomy patients, suctioning per policy, and use of equipment for ventilated patients.
