Registered Nurse (RN), Float Critical Care / ICU

Registered Nurse (RN) in Float Critical Care / ICU responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating patient care on nursing units; functions include supervision of non-RN personnel, acting as Charge Nurse, and precepting new staff. Requires development and communication of individualized plans of care, collaboration with healthcare team, and patient/family education. Demonstrates competency in neuro care, airway management for neuro patients, and procedures including suctioning, tracheostomy, and ventilator care. Prioritize documentation, performance of education post-discharge, and adherence to unit policies. BSN preferred and 1 year acute nursing experience required; valid CT RN license and BLS required.
