Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) in Float Critical Care/ICU. Provides comprehensive patient care on a nursing unit per policies, supervises non-RN personnel, may assume charge nurse responsibilities, and collaborates with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans. Demonstrates neuro-focused skills (neuro assessment, care of neuro patients, tracheostomy/ventilator care) and supports education for patients and families. Requires BSN preferred, and 1 year Neonatal ICU RN experience; includes precepting duties and adherence to organizational values and performance standards.
Required Qualifications
- BSN preferred
- Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing
- 1 Year Neonatal ICU RN experience required
- Proficient in use of computer software including Electronic Patient Records
- BLS Required
- Valid State Of Connecticut Registered Nurse License
