Job Summary
Part-time Registered Nurse in the OB/GYN Fertility Services area. Applies the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care; engages patients and families; may administer medications and therapies per clinical protocols; maintains accurate EHR documentation; participates in governance, quality initiatives, and continuous professional development. Requires active RN license with BLS, and ongoing competency in nursing care; BSN is preferred. May be required to float to other units within the service area; call rotations include weekday, weekend, and holiday coverage; schedule varies between Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM with part-time hours.
Required Qualifications
- Active registered nurse (RN) license with privileges to practice in the state(s) where nursing services are provided
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Graduation from a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program
- Experience typically requires 1 year of clinical nursing
- Preferred Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Ability to float to other units/departments as needed
- Knowledge of nursing process, patient assessment, care planning, and documentation in EHR
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to ANA Code of Ethics and ethical decision-making
