Job Summary
Perform patient assessments, prioritize care delivery, and document activities while following nursing standards under experienced RN supervision. Monitor patient progress, adjust care plans, and participate in multidisciplinary rounds and meetings. Complete assigned learning sessions, classroom work, and simulations to integrate new clinical skills. May serve as a preceptor following orientation and competency completion. Schedule includes 12-hour days from 7am to 7pm. This role supports Inova Fairfax Hospital's mission as a top-ranked teaching hospital recognized for safety, quality, and patient experience.
Required Qualifications
- BSN from an accredited school of nursing
- A minimum of 1 year of Registered Nurse clinical experience
- BLS from American Heart Association (AHA)
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Registered Nurse or an active multi-state Registered Nurse license
