Job Summary
Registered Nurse Fellow in Behavioral Health at Inova Mount Vernon Hospital, full-time day shift (7:00 am–7:00 pm) with a rotating weekend. Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance available for qualified external applicants. The role supports a growing behavioral health unit and requires collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to achieve positive patient outcomes. Education requirements include BSN or ADN with BSN within 5 years; minimum 1 year RN clinical experience; BLS certification; Virginia RN licensure. Strong English communication, interpersonal skills, and computer proficiency are essential. Preferred acute care experience (med/surg, PCU, ICU) is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 1 year of Registered Nurse clinical experience.
- Education: BSN or ADN - If ADN then complete BSN within 5 years of start date
- BLS for Healthcare Provider Certification from the American Heart Association required
- RN licensed, and eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
- Proficient in English, strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal skill and the ability to display a caring demeanor towards others.
- Proficient computer skills required.
