Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) in Family Medicine, full-time. Responsibilities include employing the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate patient care; engaging patients and families; monitoring patient conditions and adjusting care plans; ensuring safety culture; potential administration of medications and therapies per clinical protocols; fostering effective communication, feedback, conflict resolution, and delegation within the care team; pursuing professional development and maintaining required certifications; performing accurate and timely EHR documentation; and potential float to other units or facilities within the designated service area to meet patient care needs. Requires adherence to ethical standards and scope of practice, and possession of an RN license with BLS, plus the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and teamwork.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program
- Active registered nurse (RN) license with privileges to practice in the state(s) where the RN is providing client nursing services
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Typically requires 1 year of clinical nursing experience
- Ability to obtain licensure/privileges in the state(s) where clients are located
- Proficiency in electronic health records and computer literacy
