Job Summary
Provide direct, compassionate nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing environment on the 2nd shift (2PM-10PM). Administer medications and treatments, monitor resident conditions, and respond promptly to changes in status. Collaborate with CNA, LPN, provider, and other interdisciplinary team members to promote high-quality care, document care accurately, and communicate with residents and families regarding care needs. Follow infection control, safety, and regulatory/compliance protocols at all times. Requires a valid Iowa RN license (in good standing) and CPR certification. Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in good standing (state of Iowa)
- Current CPR certification
- Knowledge of federal and state long-term care regulations and laws
- Ability to provide direct, compassionate nursing care in a skilled nursing environment
- Ability to administer medications and treatments accurately and on time
- Ability to monitor resident conditions and respond to changes in status
- Ability to collaborate with CNA, LPN, provider, and interdisciplinary team
- Strong communication skills with residents and families
- Documentation of care to meet clinical, regulatory, and facility standards
- Commitment to infection control, safety, and compliance protocols
