Registered Nurse (RN) - Evening Shift

Conduct daily resident rounds, report problems to supervisors, and initiate corrective action for identified safety hazards or emergency situations. Obtain shift reports from relieving nurses and provide comprehensive handovers to incoming staff. Administer medications and treatments while observing the 5 rights, documenting assessments, and promptly reporting condition changes to physicians and the Director of Nursing. Supervise direct care associates, coordinate admissions and discharges with other departments, and respond to resident calls for assistance. Listen to concerns from residents, families, or physicians, initiating corrective actions or reporting issues as needed.
