Job Summary
Conduct patient care and manage staff assigned to the RN in your charge, adhering to policies and procedures to ensure compliance and patient safety. You may serve as Charge Nurse and remain accountable for professional practice. Maintain a night shift, full-time schedule in Albuquerque, NM, while holding a valid NM Nursing license or compact license (within 90 days of hire) and obtaining BLS certification within 14 days. Prioritize patient safety and professional nursing standards within an acute care environment offering comprehensive emergency services.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree or Diploma of Nursing
- Valid NM Nursing license or NM compact license (within 90 days of hire)
- BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care
- Night shift availability
- Full-time availability
- Emergency Room (ER) setting
- Albuquerque, NM location
- Charge Nurse capability
- Adherence to policies and procedures and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- 2 years of experience in a specialty
- 2 years of general nursing experience
- ACLS certification
- PALS certification
