Job Summary
Manage patient care and staff assigned to the RN in your charge, adhering to policies and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety. Serve as Charge Nurse when required, maintaining accountability for professional practice. Obtain BLS certification within 14 days of hire, with ACLS and/or PALS required by department. Work a night shift, full-time schedule at Lovelace Medical Center in Albuquerque, NM. The hospital provides comprehensive acute care, including emergency services, surgical care, and robotic spine surgery.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree or Diploma of Nursing
- Valid NM Nursing license or NM compact license (within 90 days of hire)
- BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care
- Night shift availability
