Job Summary
Conduct patient care and manage staff assigned to the RN in the Emergency Room at Lovelace Medical Center. Serve as Charge Nurse when required, ensuring accountability for professional practice and adherence to policies to guarantee patient safety. Maintain a night shift, full-time schedule in Albuquerque, NM. Requires a valid NM nursing license, BLS certification within 14 days, and an Associate's Degree or Diploma of Nursing. Experience in specialty or general nursing is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree or Diploma of Nursing
- Valid NM Nursing license or NM compact license (within 90 days of hire)
- BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care
- Night shift availability
- Full-time availability
- Emergency Room (ER) setting
- Albuquerque, NM location
- Charge Nurse capability
- Adherence to policies and procedures and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- 2 years of experience in a specialty
- 2 years of general nursing experience
- ACLS certification
- PALS certification
