Job Summary
Conduct pre-op, intra-op, and post-op care for patients within the Endoscopy Unit, including assessment, discharge instructions, and coordination with the surgical team. Perform patient care plans to enhance outcomes and maintain a safe, therapeutic environment while collaborating with interdisciplinary providers. Monitor patient status and prioritize needs for acute, critical patients requiring intensive medical care. This role is scheduled 32 hours per week, days, in Kings Mills, Ohio.
Required Qualifications
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- BLS Basic Life Support
- ACLS Advanced Cardiac Life Support
- PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support
- Two years of RN experience in Critical Care Department
- Completion of OR internship program
- Successful completion of Peri-op 101
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Associates degree or Bachelors degree in Nursing
- CNOR Certified Perioperative Nurse
- SGNA Society of Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates
- ACLS and/or PALS may be required within 6 months based on specific surgical department requirements
