Job Summary
Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients across all age populations using evidence-based nursing processes. Partner with patients, families, and the care team to provide holistic care while prioritizing individual needs and making flexible care decisions. Maintain legal and professional compliance with ANA standards and state practice scope. Complete required unit-specific certifications including ACLS, TNCC, PALS, and ENPC, along with patient de-escalation training. Hold a Vermont RN license and BLS certification. Requires a BSN and prior acute-care nursing experience.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed in the State of Vermont
- BLS Certification through American Heart Association
- Unit-specific certifications as required (ACLS, TNCC, PALS, ENPC) per specific department operational framework
- Completion of endorsed patient/visitor de-escalation and restraint program certification based on unit specific guidelines
- Demonstrated proficiency in acute-care nursing, knowledge, and skills
- Demonstrates moderate knowledge of basic computer skills
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, BSN preferred
- Prior related nursing experience preferred
