Job Summary
Triage injured or exposed employees, administer first aid, and prepare for medical director evaluations while managing case requests for client companies. Perform health assessments, document findings, and conduct follow-ups for work-related and non-work-related conditions. Draw labs, process occupational health specimens, and monitor test results for audiograms, vision screenings, and pulmonary function testing. Maintain clinic inventory, ensure compliance with state and federal records, and support employee wellness programs. Respond to client representatives on health matters and provide backup nursing support for workers comp duties. Requires an RN license, BLS certification, and three years of nursing experience.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in Nursing
- Three (3) years nursing experience
- Two (2) years in Occupational Medicine nursing
- Current RN compact/multistate license recognized by the NCSBN Compact State
- Licensed to practice as an RN in the state the team member is working
- Current CPR/BLS certification
Desired Qualifications
- Physical assessment background in urgent or emergency care
- Certification in Occupational Health Nursing
- Knowledge of Workers Compensation and case management processes
