Provide thorough and accurate assessments, interventions, and treatments of emergent and non-emergent patients in a fast-paced primary/urgent care setting with high patient volume. Perform triage to determine care priority for patients of all ages, initiate tests per protocol, and collaborate with physicians to manage emergent cases and facilitate patient flow. Maintain advanced knowledge of disease entities and medications, delegate to unlicensed assistive personnel, and ensure proper billing documentation and medication identification. Serve as an advocate and educator for patients and families, maintain a clean environment adhering to infection control standards, and champion improvement projects. Requires current RN compact/multistate license; variable shifts available at Blount Memorial Hospital.
