Job Summary
Review physician prescriptions and develop nursing care plans by obtaining medical histories, examining patients, and establishing diagnoses and objectives. Provide physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients, families, and friends while documenting conditions, medications, and self-care skills. Coordinate with healthcare providers, teach patients on condition management, and evaluate care outcomes against therapeutic standards. Maintain safe environments by adhering to infection-control policies, medication protocols, and controlled substance regulations. Keep equipment operational and supplies stocked, then chart all services in patient records. Work rotating shifts including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays, with up to $15,000 sign-on bonus and student loan repayment assistance available. Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) - Board of Nursing
- An active license in the state of practice Upon Hire
- The ability to work the hours specified
- Visual acuity adequate to perform position duties
- The ability to communicate effectively with others
- The ability to hear, understand and distinguish speech and other sounds
