Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) in the Emergency Department provides age-appropriate direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process, practicing within the Oregon State Board of Nursing scope. The role supports care for a wide range of patients from non-critical to emergent, including cardiac and trauma patients, with certification and credentialing requirements including BLS, ACLS, PALS within specified timelines, and TNCC/ATCN within six months. Requires current Oregon RN license and CAP-related testing prerequisites; focuses on collaboration, communication, and adaptability in a fast-paced ED environment.
Required Qualifications
- Current unencumbered Oregon RN license
- BLS required upon hire
- ACLS and PALS required within 90 days of hire
- TNCC/ATCN required within six (6) months of hire
- Verification of high school diploma or equivalent required
