Job Summary
Registered Nurse RN for Emergency Room Weekends providing high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with the care team. Responsibilities include assessing pain, performing procedures, documenting care in the medical record, promptly responding to patient needs, and educating patients and families about conditions, treatments, and follow-up. Role emphasizes advocacy, adherence to nursing models (Assess, Perform, Teach, Manage), and participation in the organization’s mission and vision to support optimal patient outcomes. Qualifications include RN license with required certifications (PALS/ACLS/BCLS), emergency nursing competencies, and completion within specified timeframes. Required Qualifications
- (RN) Registered Nurse
- Registered Nurse Diploma
- Emergency Nurse Pediatric Cour, or PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
- Advanced Trauma Care for Nurse, or Trauma Nursing Core Course must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
