Job Summary
Registered Nurse RN position in Emergency Room with weekend schedule. Provide high quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with the care team in accordance with department standards. Responsibilities include assessing and managing patient pain, performing procedures and documenting care, anticipating patient needs, and teaching patients and families about conditions, treatments, and follow-up. Requires RN license; Diploma in Nursing; BLS, ACLS and additional required certifications within specified timelines. No travel required. This role supports emergency department operations and patient outcomes at Research Medical Center in Kansas City area.
Required Qualifications
- RN license in good standing
- Registered Nurse Diploma
- Emergency Nurse Pediatric course or PALS within 1 year of employment start date
- Advanced Trauma Care for Nurses or Trauma Nursing Core Course within 1 year of employment start date
- Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of employment start date
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 6 months of employment start date
- No travel required
- Experience not required
