Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) in the Emergency Room (PT, Mullica Hill, NJ) performs patient assessment, determines priority of care, and provides immediate interventions. Responsibilities include analyzing assessment data, formulating and implementing care plans, and evaluating effectiveness in collaboration with medical staff in accordance with hospital policies. Requires enrollment in a BSN or MSN program within six months of hire with graduation by the third employment anniversary; BSN or MSN graduates preferred. Certification/licensure requirements include NJ RN licensure, BLS, ACLS, PALS within specified timeframes, CPI renewal, cardiac dysrhythmia training within 6 months, and Trauma Nurse Core Courses within 12 months. About the role: ED nursing with at least one year of clinical experience; two years ED experience preferred for per diem; per diem/part-time shift schedule 8:45am-9:15pm, Mullica Hill, NJ. Required Qualifications
- Current licensure with New Jersey State Board of Nursing
- American Heart Association BLS
- American Heart Association ACLS within 6 months of hire
- American Heart Association PALS within 6 months of hire
- CPI initial training within introductory period
- Trauma Nurse Core Courses within 12 months or ongoing trauma education
- Cardiac dysrhythmia certification within 6 months of hire
- One-year clinical experience required
