Job Summary
Registered Nurse in Emergency Room (ER Mids) coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with department requirements and standards of practice. Collaborates with medical providers and care team to assess pain, perform procedures, document care, and proactively respond to patient needs. Educates patients and families about conditions, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up measures; supports self-management. Requires RN license and RN Diploma with certifications such as TNCC/TNCC, PALS, ACLS, and BLS within specified timeframes. No travel required. Location: Kansas City, MO.
Required Qualifications
- (RN) Registered Nurse
- Registered Nurse Diploma
- Advanced Trauma Care for Nurse, or Trauma Nursing Core Course must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
- Emergency Nurse Pediatric Cour, or PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
- Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
- Basic Cardiac Life Support
- No Travel Required
