Job Summary
Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room (Mids) provides high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with the care team, performing nursing assessments, coordinating and delivering care, teaching patients and families, and documenting care. The role requires RN licensure/certification, completion of trauma and emergency-related courses within specified timeframes (ATCN/TNCC, EPIC/PALS, ACLS), and CST/ACLS/BLS competencies; no travel required. The position is based in Lenexa, KS at Research Medical Center/HCA Healthcare network with a focus on trauma, emergency care, and patient outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- RN License/Certification
- Registered Nurse Diploma
- Advanced Trauma Care for Nurse or Trauma Nursing Core Course within 1 year of start date
- Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course or PALS within 1 year of start date
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 6 months of start date
- Basic Cardiac Life Support
