Job Summary
Emergency Room Registered Nurse on mid shift delivers high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with clinicians, coordinating and performing procedures, monitoring and documenting patient status, teaching patients and families about conditions, treatment plans, meds, and follow-up steps, and ensuring safe, compassionate care within trauma and cardiac protocols; requires RN license and completion of trauma, pediatric life support, and ACLS/BLS within stated timelines; supports a broad range of staffing, education, and benefits as part of a major healthcare system.
Required Qualifications
- RN Licensed Nurse
- Registered Nurse Diploma
- Advanced Trauma Care for Nurses, or Trauma Nursing Core Course must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
- Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course, or PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
- Basic Cardiac Life Support
- No Travel Required
