Job Summary
Deliver high-quality medical care and a compassionate presence to patients and families in the Emergency Room, managing critical care needs for the sickest and most vulnerable individuals. Provide advanced cardiac life support (ACLS), pediatric advanced life support (PALS), and neonatal resuscitation program (NRP) protocols as required by patient population. Maintain licensure in the state of practice and adhere to core values of respect, care, competence, and joy while continuously improving processes and outcomes with advanced technologies. Work full-time, 36 hours per week on night shifts with weekend rotation at St. Anthony's Hospital in Effingham, IL.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited and approved school of nursing accepted for licensure in the state of practice
- Bachelor's of science in nursing
- Critical Care Nursing experience
- Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in state of practice
- Valid multi-state RN license as outlined in the Nurse Licensure Compact rules
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
- Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN)
- Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN)
- COVID-19 vaccines or an approved medical or religious exemption
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's of science in nursing is preferred
- Critical Care Nursing experience is preferred
- Specialty certifications based on patient population such as Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN), and Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) are preferred
