Registered Nurse RN Emergency Room

Registered Nurse with ER (RN ER) responsibilities including coordinating and delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in alignment with department standards and state-specific practice. In collaboration with medical providers and care teams, the RN uses established nursing models to advocate for patients and families, assess pain, document care in medical records, perform procedures and monitoring as ordered, respond to patient needs, and educate patients and families about conditions, plans, medications, and follow-up measures. Requires ongoing education/certification in trauma and cardiac life support (e.g., Advanced Trauma Care for Nurses/Trauma Nursing Core Course within 1 year; PALS or equivalent within 1 year; ACLS within 6 months; BLS).
