Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care for assigned patients in the 26-bed Emergency Department with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio. Maintain professional accountability for care provision and evaluate the effectiveness of care by other direct care givers. Coordinate patient care in conjunction with other departments while adhering to Mercy Service Standards. Support the team with patient care techs, paramedics, and patient support associates during the 6:30pm to 7:00am night shift.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license (or compact license)
- ACLS certification
- BLS certification (or within 30 days)
- Unit-specific certifications
- Experience as an RN in an Emergency Department
- Availability for night shift (6:30pm - 7:00am)
- Part-time commitment of 24 hours per week
