Job Summary
Assess patient pain regularly and perform procedures as ordered by medical providers. Document care administration in patient medical records and respond promptly to patient requests while anticipating needs proactively. Teach patients and families about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, and lifestyle changes to support self-management. Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in the emergency room using established nursing models. Obtain Advanced Cardiac Life Support within six months and Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of employment. This role is at Research Medical Center, a 585+ bed hospital offering trauma and stroke centers, with no travel required.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- (RN) Registered Nurse
- Registered Nurse Diploma
- Emergency Nurse Pediatric Cour, or PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
- Advanced Trauma Care for Nurse, or Trauma Nursing Core Course must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
