Job Summary
Registered Nurse – Emergency Room at Brookside FSED with Research Medical Center. Coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care in the Emergency Department, using nursing models to assess, perform, teach, and manage. Responsibilities include assessing patient pain, performing procedures and documentation, responding to patient needs, and educating patients and families about conditions, treatments, and follow-up. Qualifications include RN Diploma and required certifications (ACLS, BLS, PALS/TNCC) within specified timeframes; no travel required. Required Qualifications
- RN Diploma
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS/BLS) within 30 days
- Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course or PALS within 1 year
- Advanced Trauma Care for Nurses or Trauma Nursing Core Course within 1 year
