Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) in Emergency Department at Wellstar Cobb Hospital. Full-time evening shift (11 AM - 11 PM). Provides patient-centered care using the nursing process, coordinates with interdisciplinary team, documents care, supports performance improvement, serves as a preceptor for others, and adheres to policies and evidence-based practice standards. Requires 5 years RN experience, BLS, PALS, TNCC, ACLS, RN licensure (single-state or multi-state compact), and English proficiency; Bachelor's degree preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Associates in Nursing or Diploma (Nurse) Nursing
- BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS or BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor
- RN - Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN-COMPACT - RN - Multi-state Compact
- PALS - Pediatric Adv Life Support or ARC-PALS - Amer Red Cross Pediatric Advanced Life Support or PALS-I - PALS - Instructor or PALS-P - PALS-Provisional
- TNCC - Trauma Nurse Core Course or ATCN - Adv Trauma Care for Nurses Cer or TNCC-P - Trauma Nurse Core Course - Provisional (18 Months) within 18 Months
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support or ACLS-P90 - ACLS-Provisional (90 Days) within 90 Days or ARC-ALS - Amer Red Cross Advanced Life Support or ACLS-I - ACLS - Instructor
- Minimum 5 years RN experience
- Ability to read, write and speak English
- Strong interpersonal, collaborative skills
- Ability to function in a fast paced environment and respond to emergencies with decisive, composed and respectful manner
