Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Department - Southside Medical Center

Assess patient status, determine priority of problems, and implement clinical nursing interventions in a fast-paced emergency department setting. Develop and perform patient care plans to enhance outcomes, collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, and serve as the point of contact for care coordination across hospital departments. Administer medications safely consistent with state practice and organizational policies while evaluating and revising care plans to meet expected outcomes. Provide care to a broad spectrum of patients ranging from short-stay to trauma cases. Requires one year of RN experience with recent ER or critical care preferred, plus current state licensure and BLS/ACLS certifications.
