Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Department provides evidence-based clinical care to designated patients using the nursing process. Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to achieve patient outcomes, while demonstrating respect, dignity, kindness, and empathy. Requires graduation from an accredited School of Nursing and a compact/multi-state license. Preceptorship and orientation are expected; ongoing clinical competence in nursing theory and procedures and mathematical calculations related to medication administration. Based in the ED at Dearborn Hospital (Lawrenceburg, IN) with full-time status (60 hours biweekly).
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from accredited School of Nursing
- Compact (multi-state) License in primary state of residence
- Meets contact hour requirements for licensure
- Preceptorship and orientation completion
