Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Department Psych Unit

Assess, diagnose, and implement individualized plans of care for high-risk mental health patients in a six-bed behavioral health emergency unit. Monitor and evaluate patient status to modify care plans or escalate to the crisis team as needed. Advocate for patient autonomy, ensure informed consent, and mentor student nurses and clinical residents. Collaborate with physicians, care managers, and security staff to stabilize illness and develop healthy care plans. Rotate through 12-hour shifts (7a to 7p, 10a to 10p, 11a to 11p, 1p to 1a, 7p to 7a) in a full-time role. Requires BSN, New Hampshire RN licensure, BLS certification, and AVADE Workplace Violence Prevention Training.
