Registered Nurse RN Emergency Department Nights

Emergency Department Registered Nurse – Nights (12-hour shifts, 7p-7a) at Sacred Heart Hospital in Lavonia/Athens, GA. The RN assesses patients, develops and evaluates care plans, performs complex patient-care procedures, and collaborates with the care and support teams to achieve patient outcomes. The role encompasses cardiology and stroke care within a 14-bed ED unit, with emphasis on evidence-based, individualized patient care and facilitating all aspects of the patient visit experience. The RN is a professional caregiver responsible for delivering care using the nursing process, maintaining the environment and technology, and coordinating with the interdisciplinary team to provide compassionate, patient-centered care.
