Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department- Nights

Job Summary
Triage patients and prioritize care based on severity in the Emergency Department. Collaborate with ER staff to stabilize incoming patients, administer medications, start IVs, and assist with treatments, sutures, and emergency procedures. Monitor and document patient progress, educate families on care plans, maintain accurate records, and ensure crash carts are clean and safe. Provide direction to LPN staff, uphold infection control policies, and respond promptly to emergency situations. This full-time, 12-hour night shift (7:00pm–7:00am) role requires an active Mississippi RN license, BLS certification, and one year of nursing experience, with two years in the ER strongly preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license with the Mississippi Board of Nursing
- Associate, Bachelor's, or Master's degree from an accredited nursing program
- BLS certification
- 1+ year of nursing experience
- Able to stand and walk for extended periods
- Lift a minimum of 25 pounds as needed
- Ability to bend, twist, and use fine motor skills
- Visual and auditory acuity to monitor patients and communicate effectively
Desired Qualifications
- 2+ years Emergency Department experience
- Experience with patient charting and medical documentation
- ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications
